Table saws

Table saws are the most essential cutting equipment in woodworking and panel furniture manufacturing. In mass production, operators must frequently adjust the saw blade height based on different panel thicknesses and adjust the blade angle according to various edge-cutting requirements. Traditional manual adjustment methods rely on the operator's experience and tactile sense, resulting in inconsistent precision and a time-consuming process—each changeover requires repeated test cuts for verification, leading to material waste and reduced efficiency.

Our linear actuators are precision drive components specifically designed for the automatic adjustment of saw blade height and angle on table saws. By receiving commands from a CNC system or control panel, the actuators precisely control the vertical movement and angular deflection of the saw blade. The CNC system stores parameters for different processing specifications, allowing operators to precisely switch the saw blade position with a single button press, significantly reducing changeover time and eliminating human error.

Key features and benefits

Precise stroke control ensures consistent cutting accuracy

The blade height of a table saw directly determines cutting depth and machining accuracy—height deviations can result in the board not being cut through or the blade being overloaded. Our linear actuators provide precise stroke control and extremely high repeatability, ensuring the blade reaches the preset height position accurately every time. Whether it's repeated adjustments during batch production or quick switching between different board thicknesses, every adjustment is precise and consistent.

Fast response, enhanced processing efficiency

Table saws require frequent changes in processing specifications during batch production—different board thicknesses require different saw blade heights, and different bevel angles require different saw blade tilt angles. Our linear actuators feature fast response times; the time from when the control system issues a command to when the saw blade reaches the target position is extremely short, effectively reducing wait times for specification changes and improving overall processing efficiency.

High load capacity, effortlessly supporting heavy-duty sawing units

The sawing unit of a table saw (including the saw blade, motor, spindle, etc.) is substantial in weight and is subjected to immense cutting forces and vibrations during operation. Our linear actuators provide ample thrust reserve (up to 15,000 N), effortlessly supporting the weight and dynamic loads of the sawing unit. Featuring a high-strength drive mechanism and a robust housing design, they ensure stable positioning performance even under heavy loads and vibration.

High protection rating to withstand wood chips and dust

Table saws generate large amounts of wood chips and dust during operation, placing high demands on the equipment's protection rating. Our linear actuators feature a high protection rating (up to IP69K), providing full protection against the intrusion of wood chips and dust. The aluminum housing and special sealing design ensure stable and reliable performance even in long-term, high-dust environments.

Maintenance-free design to reduce equipment downtime risk

Table saws are often the core equipment in production workshops, and any downtime will affect the operation of the entire production line. Our linear actuators feature a maintenance-free design, eliminating the need for regular lubrication or replacement of wear-prone parts. The all-electric solution completely eliminates the risk of oil leaks associated with hydraulic systems. Validated through tens of thousands of endurance tests, it ensures stable operation throughout the equipment's entire lifecycle.

Built-in Hall sensors, enabling precise control for customers

Our linear actuators feature built-in Hall sensors that provide real-time feedback on the actuator's stroke position and operating status via pulse signals. This allows customers' CNC systems to precisely monitor the saw blade's real-time height and angle, enabling accurate closed-loop control. The real-time feedback from the Hall sensors provides the precise execution basis for automated cutting—from automatic adaptation to panel thickness to precise control of cutting angles, every parameter is executed with precision under closed-loop control.

Richmat's engineers provide end-to-end technical support—from needs assessment and solution design to product delivery—ensuring that every cut and every moment of precision machining is safeguarded by our reliable linear drive systems.

Reflow soldering ovens

Reflow soldering ovens are the most critical soldering equipment in SMT (surface mount technology) production lines. They are widely used in the assembly of PCBs (printed circuit boards) across industries such as electronics manufacturing, automotive electronics, telecommunications equipment, and consumer electronics. Reflow soldering ovens heat solder paste to its melting point through preheating, soldering, and cooling zones, ensuring that surface-mount components are reliably bonded to the PCB pads. Modern reflow soldering ovens are evolving toward higher throughput and greater versatility, resulting in increasingly compact interior spaces.

In the daily operation of reflow soldering ovens, opening and closing the oven lid is the most frequent action during equipment maintenance, PCB loading and unloading, and troubleshooting. Traditional manual opening methods are not only labor-intensive but also pose a risk of burns due to the oven's large size and heavy weight. Our linear actuators are precision drive components specifically designed for the automatic opening and closing of reflow soldering oven lids. By receiving commands from the equipment's control system, the actuators precisely control the lifting, lowering, and angle adjustment of the oven lid. In a typical design, two electric linear actuators are mounted on the front of the oven body, and two support brackets are mounted on the back. When the actuators extend synchronously, the oven lid opens to an angle of approximately 18 degrees, with the rear support bracket serving as the pivot point. The actuators are delivered as individual components, featuring built-in Hall sensors that integrate with the customer's control system. The actuator system is simple, has low maintenance costs, and offers a long service life, significantly enhancing the equipment's stability and reliability.
