Recently, Richmat has been awarded the participation certificate for national standard GB/T 46015—2025 Guidelines for the Design of Age-Friendly Furniture. As a co-drafting organization of this standard, the company relies on its technical expertise in intelligent linear drive to fuel the standardized and human-oriented development of the age-friendly furniture industry. The standard was issued in August 2025 and officially came into force in February 2026.

The standard specifies requirements for stable furniture structures, rounded components and simplified operation to accommodate the physical and psychological characteristics of the elderly. During the formulation of the standard, Richmat drew on profound experience in intelligent drive, structural mechanics and smart medical & elderly care, providing vital technical support to ensure the standard’s scientificity, practicality and forward-looking nature.
